米マサチューセッツ州メイナード（Maynard, Massachusetts）に本社があった、世界第2位のコンピュータ企業デジタル・イクイップメント・コーポレーション（DEC / digital）に向かうリムジンの中です（^^）最近の「引越」で机の奥の奥から出てきた1990年の懐かしい一枚の写真です。旧アサベット毛織物工場（Assabet Woolen Mill）には、ナレッジ・エンジニア（Knowledge Engineer）の研修に世界中から人が集まっていました。DECは AIやネットワーク、パソコンなどの基盤を創出した優れた企業でした。
