Any mastodon admins here who know about self-hosting mastodon?
I am currently struggling hard with setting up my own mastodon instance on docker using "docker compose".
My Mastodon page is showing the "Something is wrong on our side" banner. That's how far I've gotten.
Just pointing me to the docker documentation would be an immense help right now, since I can't find any explicit docker setup guides.

Today was the first day I competed my entire morning routine without using my #iPad. Every morning I check email, read 2 local newspapers, check Mastodon, post anything interesting in the newspaper on #Mastodon, etc.
I am so happy with my new #Starlite tablet by #Starlabs! What a capable machine. #Zorin OS is a game changer, too.
I've been an #Apple user since 1980, and it's sad to leave. But they've definitely lost their way.

Diese aktuelle Recherche für den #Funkstreifzug auf @BR24 offenbart aber nochmals, was passieren kann, wenn man zu nachlässig mit seinen #standortdaten ist: Wer beim Installieren bestimmter #apps den Zugriff auf die Standortdaten aktiviert, muss damit rechnen, in Datensätzen zu landen, die von Händlern weltweit verkauft werden.

And forgive me for being pedantic, again, but here the numbers look stable. If anything, they're increasing when it comes to active users. Sure, there was an abnormal peak one year here ago, but that was before some users decided to switch to Blue sky, right?
Which brings me again to the question: what is the evidence suggesting that #Mastodon is losing users?
