Just got another "verification" scam from a different account just now - This one was slightly different saying something about getting payed to post - but I am sure it's the same "verification" scam.
So I didn't click on the link, and reported the account.
The Mastodon team seams to be on top of things, and took care of the first round quickly, so hopefully they will get this one just as fast too.
