@Seeker Die Suche sollte out of the box funktionieren. Allerdings kann #Mastodon nur Hashtags suchen. Erst wenn man zusätzlich einen Elasticsearch- oder Opensearchserver konfiguriert "lernt" Mastodon auch Volltextsuche.

Im definately late to the party with this thinking about #socialmedia
I consider facebook, Instagram, youtube, reddit, x-shitter, #mastodon as "social media" because they all include to varying degrees features designed to show you posts from sources you never sought out to see (not so much in mastodon, but I can "follow" a hashtag which amounts to the same thing as unknown others can fill this feed)
I dont think of systems like discord and whatsapp as social media because of this. thoughts?
