I've tested #MeowViewer which works very well by @meowViewer who is developing it ⭐
#MeowViewer = Fast, local, can view offline (needs online to start)
Would be great if it could be run as standalone offline version - but after online upload you can even search you own posts which can hit hit and miss standard search bar or sometimes doesn't work to find much!)

Okay good people. This is a Mastodon mobile app question.
I am moving from the Google ecosystem (referred to as Hell henceforth) to Apple (not quite heaven but close enough.)
The Hell app remembers my place and allows me to pickup reading posts from where I left denoted by the “view more” bar. This bar expands posts upward allowing me to continue reading oldest to newest.
Is there no such functionality in the iOS app? I’ve looked and looked but there is nothing. The app settings are rudimentary at best.
Is the #Apple ecosystem #mastodon purgatory. #FediverseApp #mastodonapp

Can someone ask @Gargron and team why this version of #Mastodon is slowing down my browser tab until I refresh the page? I couldn't enlarge a photo because it basically was too late registering the clicks. Using Librewolf, started with this latest version where it seemingly selecting the language automatically?

Mastodon will have quote posts soon
Of the three socials that sprouted out of the carcass of Twitter, I enjoyed Mastodon the most. The quality of conversations that is. Threads was the most polished. But it felt like nothing was happening there. And the for you feed ignored me to no end. This is good though. Quote posting is fun.
