Is there any chance at all that the web site version of #Mastodon will ever solve the problem of images and videos being TOO TALL for my screen? I often can't actually see the whole of an image or video. I mean, I can zoom out, but why should I have to?
The answer is (theoretically) straightforward: resize the thing to fit entirely in the available space. Surely this can be changed? Note that usually it's more important to me to see the whole item, even if it looks smaller!

It is taking so long to rebuild #elasticsearch. What a boondoggle it is has been to move my #Mastodon instance from bare metal back to containers using #podman. The important thing is that it seems to be working but it was challenging.

je suis à la recherche d'une faq simple (1 à 2 pages maximum) expliquant à des utilisateurs très néophytes comment utiliser leur nouvelle configuration : utilisation des wildcards, chercher un fichier...
Pas besoin de savoir comment on crée un utilisateur ou on lance un service, ca s'adresse en fait uniquement à des utilisateurs en peine par rapport à windows pour les rassurer.
Si @nicolasvivant à Echirolles a une piste pour savoir comment il a pu aider ses propres utilisateurs à s'émanciper, je le remercierais éternellement.
