Seems to me the std Mastodon should allow separate defaults for an original post vs. a reply.

I'd like all my originals to be Public.

I'd like all my replies to be Quiet.

If I could set that in my defaults then I wouldn't have to change the visibility every darn time I reply.

#VMware Workstation Player Pro で #Ubuntu 24.04 の #Mastodon をテストしているが、Mastodon の update が引っ越しテスト後やっていなかったので、v4.3 から v4.5.0 まで順番に上げた。

version up のおさらいをした感じ。

v4.3 → v4.4、 v4.4 → v4.5 で Ruby のバージョンを上げて行っていることに気づく。

I guess not many people are allowing quotes, which is neither here or there to me.. I wish the devs had just made boosting a post straightforward rather than having now a pop-up that I have to click through again that reminds me that there’s an option I can’t use.

I mean it’s an irritation, but please think about removing the pop-up if the quote option isn’t available and keeping everything streamlined unless there is the option to quote a particular post

No consigo abrir sesión en la app oficial de Mastodon, me abre un navegador para iniciar sesión, y carga el TL perfectamente, pero más allá de eso no hace nada, no vuelve a la app para cargar la cuenta ☹️
