Kürzlich in einer privaten Runde über unterschiedliche Social Media Kanäle gesprochen. Habe von meinem KI-Shortcut berichtet, um #AltText für #Mastodon und #Pixelfed zu generieren. Eine Bekannte mit Instagram-Account, die selbst viele Bilder postet, und eine stattliche Anzahl Follower hat, rollt die Augen wegen KI-Texten. Und sieht aber auch denn Sinn von Alttexten nicht. Blinde auf Insta?
Kurz darauf war sie Abends bei einer Veranstaltung und hat dort einen ihr bekannten Menschen getroffen, der selbst blind ist. Da hat sie ihn gefragt, wie er das mit dem Alttext sieht. Er meinte, er folge ihr auf Insta, könne aber nie die Bilder von ihr "sehen", weil sie keinen Alt-Text habe.
Die Bekannte macht jetzt Alt-Text. 🥳

@xChaos I've been having issues, too. Most of the posts by the bots are pretty mild, as you say, but with occasional inclusion of posts praising Russian military units' so-called victories and Putin...
I have been getting sign-ups of a similar kind several times a week, but the accounts don't get used.
It seems as if they're being kept in reserve for a sudden flooding of posts at a particular moment.
