I just dug through a 9MB JSON to find a direct message I sent here, only to find the corresponding object link to be non-existent. Fortunately I had an accurate timestamp, that helped me dig up the message on the UI after about 5 minutes of constant scrolling.
All this because some genius thought that preventing me from searching my own stuff will prevent online harassment.

¿Han notado la curiosa resonancia entre la ética del fediverso y ciertos principios del #paganismo?
En ambos sistemas de pensamiento, a su manera, valoran profundamente la autonomía, la descentralización y la conexión con la comunidad y el entorno. En el paganismo, se honran los ciclos naturales y la soberanía personal sobre la propia práctica. En el #fediverso, se promueve la soberanía digital: la capacidad de controlar tus datos, tu identidad y la forma en que interactúas, lejos del control centralizado de las grandes corporaciones.
Es una fascinante intersección donde la tecnología moderna y las tradiciones antiguas encuentran un terreno común en la búsqueda de la libertad y el respeto mutuo.

Aunque a menudo el desarrollo de software libre se percibe como un entorno técnico y a veces anónimo, la realidad es que el #fediverso y proyectos como #Mastodon florecen gracias a la diversidad de sus colaboradores.
La comunidad #LGBTQ+ ha sido fundamental en la creación de muchos nodos (instancias) y en la formación de las políticas de moderación que hacen del fediverso un espacio más seguro e inclusivo en contraste con las grandes corporaciones de redes sociales. La ética del software libre se entrelaza aquí con la creación de espacios digitales autónomos y respetuosos.
Es un recordatorio de que la tecnología, en su esencia, es tan diversa como las personas que la construyen.
