I'm aro/ace as well as demigender (specifically demigirl)/genderqueer with she/her pronouns.
I generally do not take offense if people default to seeing me as either male or female (though I lean towards being more feminine with some gender experimentation).
I do talk about sexuality but I prefer to focus on other things because I tend to be more quiet about the things I identify with, not because I suppress myself to seem more conventional or something like that, but rather because not many people are interested in me as a person.

However, I would like to take the time to add some... additional info. In addition to the Side 7 intro that talks more about me and what I do in general.
Blocking and muting are important forms of self-care as it sets healthy boundaries. I'm not going to debate that.
I also know that I can be kind of abrasive and unclear at times, and I know some of you are upset because of the fact that I may have off days.
I'm trying to improve, so I would like to make a request just as a guideline:
I learn best through explicit and clear feedback from others and not sudden blocks/mutes/suspensions without explanation.
It doesn't have to take up too much of your time to write it, it can be one sentence. So I would respectfully request a explanation with at least some detail.
You don't have to if you want to, though. I completely understand and respect your choice.
I do not and will not circumvent blocks or engage in any harassment or bothering of any kind. On the contrary, I'm less likely to do such a thing, and I will ensure that I do not cross such a line.
I have had learning and behavioral difficulties throughout the years. I also just lost a family member today (as of 11/30).
It's just a request.
I am technically still active but I don't interact with many people because it feels like I don't have much in common with many people on my platform (especially my instance at social.lol, but omg.lol gives me a lot of perks so I'm not looking to leave it).
If I seem less active it's because I'm busy with something, whether it's my art projects or my other jobs that I have to do, or I have to help the family out with something, etc.
I would like to discover more people who are into the same interests as me, however; I don't just want people who have the same interests as me.
I want people who share my values and beliefs. I don't just want someone to make me laugh. I want someone who values what I have to offer despite my flaws. I'm not one of those people who just say humor is the most important thing in a relationship and just expect that to make it work only to end up divorced years later. (for clarification, I'm not looking to date anyone on the internet)
(Selected) posts are deleted after 6 months. I like to clean up my social media post history to show new information.
I have nothing nefarious to hide or anything, so if you have a question about a past post or comment or reply, I can clarify some things if you want.
I will not tolerate snap judgments made towards me based on outdated info I have already corrected.

Mastodon running on FreeBSD 14.3-RELEASE in a Bastille jail. Running really smooth! Less problems than I had expected.
Next steps:
- Seperating into multiple jails (Nginx, Postgres+Valkey, Sidekiq, Puma and Streaming)
Then testing and planning the actual migration of my instance ofer to the new server 🙂

On my gratitude list today: #Mastodon. It's the one form of social media that is not part of #enshitification. Next on the list is #Linux. Both of these work really well on even really old hardware-- like the kind you can find everywhere since #Microsoft wants to monetize everything like a horrible video game.
In general, bottom feeding on leftovers seems to be the best route for experiencing real community in this time. The world already feels like a better place when communities resist evil.
