Genau! Und damit auch den letzten Behauptungen Boden zu entziehen, es ginge um Reichweite. Denn Reichweite bildet man selbst. Wenn alle, die sich um ihre Reichweite sorgen, endlich mal zu Mastodon wechseln, würden ihnen alle folgen, die ihnen folgen wollen. Reichweite kann man ja auch nicht erzwingen - nur weil ich auf einem belebten Ort ein Schild hoch halte, werden es nicht automatisch alle lesen, nur die Interessierten.

Eigentlich will man nur noch schreien. Anschreien die Verantwortlichen in Politik, Medien und Institutionen, endlich von solchen toxischen, destruktiven Plattformen wie #X zu verschwinden und stattdessen freie, dezentrale Alternativen wie #Mastodon aktiv zu nutzen und zu bewerben – statt weiterhin Strukturen zu stärken, die öffentliche Debatten verrohen lässt und demokratische Prozesse untergraben.

Sat having one of those work from home days. Means I'm sat in front of my home pc with my work laptop sat in view, but not my primary focus. Home pc being the main focus with all it's linuxy goodness. So I am thinking I may start another #mastodon instance just for the #AudioMo account. I don't need to, but I can if I wish @audiomo

@ianthetechie @skade @ivory There's number of bots, Vietnamese one especially annoying posting w/o language metadata (or wrong language - I haven't dig) and I don't have "Translate" button.
I'm considering banning it from the feed as it posts about #Rust quite a bit.
Someone, who invented that for #Mastodon was evidently non-native in English and considered people using different languages. It even allows me to set my languages, what I think helps with feed preference.

@tazgetroete #Mastodon ist nicht verboten. Das ist die Chance, für die Resilienz des Netzwerks Werbung zu machen: Sollte irgendwann auch mastodon.social darunter fallen, kann jeder Jugendliche seine Follower/Followings zur nächsten, kleineren Instanz mitnehmen.
