Are there any plans to make quotes visible to everyone? Otherwise, what is the point of showing how many times a post has been quoted?
Since people are using quoted posts to add opinions, further context, sources, alt text and content warnings, I would really like to be able to see them in the same way that I can see who is boosting/faving a post.

I’ve been thinking about this for a bit, and I think this should be the default behaviour for #Mastodon; all attached media requires a description. Yes, have an option to turn it off on your account, but it would affect discoverability, as posts with media with no descriptions be filtered out be default.

👉 upload a 230KiB #webm #video, and not suffer improper frame-pacing
👉 misrepresent lots of formats, that aren't GIF(Graphics Interchange Format)
