Moderators here, @Taubeaufdemdach, could be making exceptions for favored #Mastodon accounts, instead of applying the rules impartially for everyone. In my opinion, the worst thing about @Mastodon are the incompetent, unfair, and even unethical actions of at least some of its moderators.

It used to be that people on Mastodon would grant people a little grace. If they misunderstood something, doubted something or needed clarification, they'd politely question. Lately I've seen much more bickering. An absence of grace. Anger. Inflexibility.

I am gonna try to migrate my instance from the Ubuntu server it is on to a different server running Alpine. I want a more minimal setup and need to try and get that setup. Plus I am not entirely certain I like the way Ubuntu is going.
I will post more as I look into how to do this.
