Parece ser que hay gente discutiendo en Bluesky sobre futuras instancias usando ATProto y el problema que puede haber al tener que manejar por una parte el nombre de usuario y por otro la "instancia". Y hay gente de esa que decía que crear una cuenta en Mastodon era demasiado complejo diciendo ahora que no se desprecie a los "normies" y a las abuelicas. #bluesky #mastodon #fediverso

I visited a good friend recently and discovered he owns a Mastodon tusk! He had never heard of our Mastodon or the fediverse or any of the shenanigans were all creating on the open social web. Its been interesting to see reactions when sharing the public social media concepts developing. May they last beyond us, perhaps as long as this ancient tusk!

Why in eff won't Firefox present mastodon images in-line with my VPN on, yet I can copy the image links from the panes in the failing tab to a new tab in the same browser instance and see them fine, no change to VPN status?

Anyone know how to fix this?

Or is it some mastodon client or server config issue?

I'm simply visiting mastodon.online via browser at present.

VPN off it's no problem, but that's not what VPN's are for, if I may mangle the aphorism on ships.

¿Saben que amo de Mastodon? (ocurre en las redes descentralizadas), detenerme, ver aquel usuario actualizando sus publicaciones, sobre su vida, trabajo, estudios; cada aspecto que le parece importante compartir.

¡Es humano!, ver el avance de los demás, lo que aprenden y comparten, por lo que luchan y por quienes luchan. Como siempre, desarrollando debates, amistades y conociendo más este mundito que nos rodea.

Es glorioso estar en un lugar así.
