#homelab housekeeping sunday has been very productive! #mastodon upgraded from v4.3.17 all the way to v4.5.9! getting back on that horse...
still to do:
- get honcho memory working (mainly need to add a pgvector database)
- decom old postgresql things, confirm backups work (also need to test restore)
- migrate off bitnami mysql helm chart

Ich habe ein paar Fragen zu Friendica, die mir das Web nicht so einfach beantworten konnte.
#theme - kann man das Theme im Webbrowser irgendwo umstellen? TĂŒrkise Schrift auf hellem Hintergrund ist nichts mehr fĂŒr meine alten Augen.
Ich bin zu doof es zu finden.
Aus SicherheitsgrĂŒnden habe ich #2FA aktiviert. Damit funktioniert die Anmeldung ĂŒber #Relatica nicht mehr.
Gibt es so was wie #API-SchlĂŒssel oder App-#Passphrases?
Durch den Systemwechsel von #Mastodon zu #friendica konnte ich keine Account-Umleitung und keinen Follower Ex- & Import nutzen. Die meisten habe ich einfach hÀndisch neu angelegt.
Ich wĂŒrde aber gerne #Hashtags folgen. Ich verstehe noch nicht, wo ich diese eintrage.
Ich komme mir mit meinen Fragen mal wieder vor, wie ein AnfÀnger.
Oder bin ich nur der, der sich traut, diese öffentlich zu stellen?

In letzter Zeit habe ich mich was meine Internet-AktivitĂ€ten auf Mastodon konzentriert. Ich wollte fĂŒr eine Zeit mal etwas mehr Interaktion, schauen, wo Kommunikation angeregter von Statten gehen kann. Ich wusste natĂŒrlich, dass das Format dort letztendlich nicht zu einer Tiefe fĂŒhrt die viele Themen eigentlich benötigen, aber am Ende gibt es auch da Immer die Möglichkeit auf Menschen zu [âŠ]

I remember when your GP wasnât just a name on a list. Care felt woven into daily life, unremarkable, but steady.
Now is different. Text messages arrive asking for feedback when human interation just hasnât connected. Appointments are hard to come by, faces change, everyoneis a strnger. The system still functions, but the quieter, human part, has thinned out.
Itâs easy to wonder if this is just what happens with age: that the world hasnât changed, only the vantage point. But there are real shifts too, busier lives, stretched services, and communities that donât always overlap the way they once did. Familiarity has been replaced by efficiency; recognition by process.
Yet, the memory of how it felt remains clear. Not grand gestures, just small ones: being remembered, being asked, being noticed. Those things still matter. Perhaps they always will, even if theyâve become harder to find in the places we once expected them.
