@j_bertolotti I understand the struggle, I remember wishing when I joined #Mastodon that there was some kind of fancy algorithm to make the initial discovery easier.

A few years later, I fully treasure the fact that I only see what I want to see, it just took a little time to get there (and to realise in my brain what I actually wanted from social media).

Now I tell everyone new "follow all the hashtags that sound even mildly interesting, you can curate them to your interests over time".

Which was basically a techy-mag click bait, moral panic issue over four years ago

And it's interesting to note that there doesn't seem to be a "gentle refresh" issue anywhere on the #Mastodon #Github
