I just ordered a brand name one. They are stupid expensive. But I'm on #mastodon, right? Aren't half of you on here because of #linux #printer driver issues and stuff? And the other half are #electronics #hackers? Who wants to see me take apart this toner cartridge and see how/why it (doesn't) work?
Better yet, who already did it?
Who can explain this failure mode?
I don't see any unconnected contacts, loose, bent or covered contacts, etc.
I tried swapping the chips from a real cartridge too

Is there a way to save/download a thread on #Mastodon on PC? Either natively or externally like the old Twitter Threadreader app?
Alternatively anyone know of a scrolling screenshot tool for linux?
I'm guessing the best solution would be locally rather than a webapp as threads may look different on different instances.
