Every time i forgot how entitled US people often are, every time someone on Mastodon recall me.
Even big account here have entitled US people that still spread the lie it's "impossible" to have worldwide network without hyperscaler.
Yet again, my own team (until a new IT chief come), and other open source project, do exactly this "impossible" task every day.

Interesting development: #Mastodon 4.5.5 still has the bug, but I was able to get my new announcement notification counter to go away by reading the *last* announcements.
In fact, reading the last one dropped the counter from 2 to 1, then reading the last two made it vanish.

It's all the more regrettable given that this journalist, François Saltiel, is usually well informed and advocates for open solutions.
