If your little self-hosted instance were the target of a DDoS attack, it would not warrant comment from any head of anything at #Mastodon. It wouldn't really be their concern, whoever that might be.

As I understand it, one big reason ppl are advised to migrate from mastodon.social is that the maintainers have been AWOL. That's who ought to be commenting to anyone concerned.

Les instructions:
1. Tu éteins ton téléphone.
2. Tu changes la carte SIM.
3. Tu rédemarres ton téléphone et tu attends 3 minutes.
4. Tu t'inscris à Mastodon en attendant.
5. Tu as le nouveau forfait et c'est 15 Go par mois.

Elle est s'est inscrite sur Mastodon.

Je l'ai joué subtil.

@mastodonmigration I'm glad they made it clear it was Mastodon.Social that was attacked. Andy Piper did the fediverse good with his comments.

"So far, only mastodon.social has been targeted ... “This is a case where the decentralized nature of the Fediverse is a true advantage,” noted Mastodon’s head of communications, Andy Piper.
