#mastodon must have a central european organisation where individual serverowners can come together. Make a financial plan so the #eu can reserve money. Then the money can transported to individual serverowner to support local mastodon servers. Mayby even a central organisation can buy in serverspace together. Just my toughts.

Have you seen me on Discord recently? Well, starting today, I am aiming to no longer use or rely on it. The communities I care the most about have IRC channels, XMPP MUCs, and Matrix rooms or spaces. The only big issue is that most if not all of the people in FRB are using Discord with no intentions of switching. Although, a bunch of members are using Bluesky, which will work well enough for me. This applies for other communities I am in.

You know how youtubers always ask you to "please like and subscribe" because that's what feeds the algorithm and extends their audience?
Fortunately, on Mastodon there's no algorithm. On the other hand, whenever you favourite someone's post, please consider whether or not it's worth boosting as well.
Favourites are a nice way to give positive feedback to the poster, but boosts are what extends audiences.
