So after bending over and doing what I didn't want via the phone app, they sent me an email saying:
"After reviewing your account again, we found it doesn’t comply with our Professional Community Policies or LinkedIn User Agreement. As a result, access to your account will remain restricted.
"If you believe your account complies with our policies and need further assistance, you can visit our Help Center to contact LinkedIn support."
1. I have no idea what is in violation. Could it be that I added the title of a legit book I was paid to write called "Sexcommunicated"? Used a VPN? Am just a huge weirdo nobody likes? idk!! I can't even look at my account.
2. I can't log in to change whatever is wrong even if I had a good guess.
3. Can't log in to access the Help Center link they provided in the email.
4. Can't sent an email to any support account (I tried 7 addresses which all bounced with a "We're sorry, but the email address you attempted to use is no longer supported.")
5. Have no way to request a deletion of my account or removal of my data. (Isn't this against the law somewhere?)
So that's it I guess. Went through all that for worse than nothing. Feeling rather broken right now and rather not like a real person.
I research cults and behavior modification programs. If I were evil and designed a torture program to be dehumanizing, gaslighting, crazymaking, existence-invalidating, and trauma-inducing without using any physical touch or presence, this is how I would do it.
