I just set up a #LinkedIn account so I could get access to the LinkedIn Learning content I’m entitled to as a Lynda.com author. I had been an early adopter of LinkedIn back around 2006 but closed my account around the same time I quit Facebook. It took me 10 minutes just to turn off all of the notification options. They were ALL turned ON. This is definitely a job hunting site now. And what’s with the games? Ugh.🙄… (1/3)

Anyway, although I did include a profile photo, I refuse to look up "connections” or provide a job history. And when I attempted to verify my account with #Clear, I stopped the process as soon as they wanted a selfie. I'm so done voluntarily giving my info to organizations that will sell it to others, including the ever-intrusive government surveillance systems. I don't want to be on #LinkedIn. I don't care what happens there. (2/3)
