The Weekly World News has been cracking me up ever since I discovered they have an Ig. And you gotta hand it to these people: they are legends at coming up with crazy.
Sadly even they can't compete with the real horrors of #LinkedIn 👻

Is #LinkedIn using the large-scale fingerprinting it performed to differentiate between users accessing the same browser from the visit history of numerous websites where MS Clarity's JavaScript is embedded? Since each user who logs into LinkedIn has a corresponding ID, MS might be using hashed IDs to match the fingerprints. On the other hand, while collecting #Chrome extensions may be for this fingerprinting purpose, it's also likely to understand the features users want in their browser and use that information to improve Edge. Knowing MS, they probably have materials prepared to argue that it's "not for profiling purposes" in anticipation of a discovery order in a civil lawsuit.
LinkedIn fouille illégalement votre ordinateur
https://browsergate.eu/

🚨 LinkedIn Is Illegally Searching Your Computer
「 Every time any of LinkedIn’s one billion users visits https://linkedin.com, hidden code searches their computer for installed software, collects the results, and transmits them to LinkedIn’s servers and to third-party companies including an American-Israeli cybersecurity firm.
The user is never asked. Never told. LinkedIn’s privacy policy does not mention it 」

Ho damn, #linkedin is so strange. I found a post of a woman claiming that she don't need social media managers now cause she use #claude #ai to generate and schedule posts. Then she gives for free a handful of 3 lines prompts to use. No output example, no context example.
1: If she give no new context every day, it will just spit the same generic things all the time.
2: How does it work if you don't even give info on the company?
3: I was going to say that people will notice how soulless the posts are but social media managers written posts are already like that to be honest.
It really looks like she never used AI but brag about doing it.
Then I look at the comments and everyone is just saying how helpful that post is.
