I got on LinkedIn because someone told me it was the “professional thing to do” after retirement.
Big mistake.
This place is a digital motor pool full of self-appointed visionaries doing donuts in the mud, yelling about scaling, optimizing, and disrupting, while actively failing to comprehend anything larger than their own reflection in a ring light.

@nobsagile Dann werde ich heute einen kleinen LinkedIn Post dazu schreiben. Ich habe aber auf #LinkedIn keine Reichweite mehr, weil der Algorithmus mich runtergeregelt hat. Manchmal denke ich, das hat mit der Kündigung von #Office365 zu tun, aber das ist natürlich #Verschwörungstheorie.

@abstractcode @drew @shlee @jpm aside from all the self promoting 💩 on linked in, at its core it’s useful to keep up with work friends, stalk clients and check out who’s working where. Also recruitment. Conversely clients use it to check out contractors and consultants.
What about Friendica, it might be easier to skin and add in the companies and skills aspect to the data model
