Solved sekrets management for my budding NixOS pi application cluster (kinda :P)!

In this case, it's transcrypt to the rescue: github.com/elasticdog/transcry

....I really should have initialised it in aes-256-ctr instead of the aes-256-cbc default tho.......

But yeah, transcrypt + git submodules = I can open source my NixOS config in the future!

"Git ist zu kompliziert."
"Ich arbeite alleine, brauche kein Git."
"Meine Projekte sind zu klein."

Drei Mythen.

Glad I haven't made a Github account (I prolly never will cos Microsoft) but jeezums, people can be so sensitive and so serious even in the most non-serious places where fun is allowed. Literal anti-fun.

Ask them "u mad bro" and they be exploding in anger lmao but yeah. Spam reporting.. never good.

I cannot take credit for this and I don't remember where I got it, but if you want pretty #git logs in the #console, try this:

```
git config --global alias.l 'log --graph --pretty=format:"%C(auto)%h%<(3)%d %s %C(bold blue)(%cr, %an)%Creset" --abbrev-commit --all'
``
@robjperez Magit is actually really simple to use thanks to the transient menus. Its exceptionally well designed and there is very little you can do with #git that you can't do more easily with #magit and without the overhead of having to memorise lots of options as it holds your hand (over time you develop the muscle memory to fly through the common commands, speeding up your workflow).
Strange how the mass operates, I don't understand why we grow an urge to do some thing, just because "every one" else is doing it. Is it because we are uncertain, afraid, mortal etc.? Why is Git and Github most successful on the market, even though they definitely are not the best. I used years ago Fossil, a version-control-system which is way more efficient and elegant than Git. Marketing is a poison to creativity and freedom!
