Einfach den eigenen Fediverse Server in die Firefox Suche einbinden. Das ist sehr einfach! Die Suche ist damit wesentlich potenter, da man einfach zwischen den Suchmaschinen wechseln kann.
Dazu muss der eigene Node lediglich in die Liste der Suchmaschinen aufgenommen werden:
Ab sofort wird der Node vorgeschlagen und die Suche kann gestartet werden.
Ich finde, das ist eine bärenstarke Funktion. #Friendica #Suchmaschine

This has consistently been my experience with testing #Friendica. The feature set is amazing, but the performance of the aging GLAMP stack and the UX of the 'squeeze it wherever it fits' interface leave a lot to be desired. A shame.

Well this is intriguing. I found a Friendica service that appears to be based in Aotearoa;
I've been looking for a new Friendica host since libranet.de nuked my one there with no warning. So I tried to set up an account on friendica.nz to kick the tyres, but there's no obvious way to register, and no contact info for the admins. So private there's basically a brick wall where the door would be : P

Mittlerweile mag ich den Für Dich Channel wirklich sehr. Ich brauchte erst einige Zeit um dahinter zu steigen und einen praktischen Ansatz zu finden. Jetzt möchte ihn nicht mehr missen, und habe ihn seit ungefähr 4 Wochen im aktiven Einsatz. Auf der eigenen Instanz mit einem noch größeren Nutzen, weil ich die Einstellungen bei jedem einzelnen Kontakt vorgenommen habe.
