I think one of the best things that can come out of the #atproto / #fediverse ecosystem(s) is a viable OnlyFans competitor. The side effects would be critical open web infrastructure for safety, financial autonomy, and authorization/membership.

@ondrosik I think this is a difference how #friendica generates the home timeline feed as compared to mastodon and other common #fediverse servers. Friendica also includes repies in the home timeline feed. There are apps that can filter out posts that are replies to other posts client side however TW Blue may not be able to do that I think.

Quietly and without fanfare the number of users slips over the 10 million mark.
There has been uncertainty in the past whether this is just #Mastodon users or includes the whole #Fediverse .
Either way that is a lot of people putting their faith, time and trust into federated social networking that does not involve #billionaireWare .
Could be a good time to think about supporting the instance that you use. These servers have costs for hosting and domain names. Check the above page for your instance which will probably have a donation link.
Regular donations of any amount will help your instance admin plan costs.
There are also various people whose names popup who work on the development of these systems. Some of those will appreciate a donation.
