Leider darf ich weder auf Freiburg.social, noch auf Sueden.social öffentlich posten, damit meine Tröts dort nicht in der lokalen Timeline landen. Leider führt das auch dazu, dass die Orts-Hashtags in meinen Tröts nicht mehr gefunden werden und vermutlich auch nicht zu den Leuten gelangen, die sie abonniert haben. Gibt es irgendwo im #Fediverse eine Instanz, in der ich öffentlich tröten darf?

その次のクッションページ作成処理より、添付のログから画像のダウンロードとリンク貼りをする様にして、先程効果を確認。
日時のログ画面は今夜間処理で効果確認予定で、この時15時35分のポストの個別ログも画像表示になるはず。

Man verpasst halt einfach einmal mehr, was das #Fediverse *wirklich* ist, wenn man sich auf eine einzige Plattform (immer wieder die selbe) beschränkt. Das #Fediverse ist ein Universum - eine einzige Plattform (mit so viel Mängeln) ist wirklich platt.
Darum sage ich: Das ist nur die halbe Information. In meinen Augen: Ziel nicht erfüllt.

Warum stand im Titel und später denn nicht einfach sachgerecht #Fediverse statt Mastodon?
Warum nur einen Teil der Information weiter geben? Warum die Fokussierung auf nur immer das eine selbe Projekt im #Fediverse?
Eine "Gesellschaft für Informatik" enttäuscht hier sehr.

This is an argument for (also) having a recommendation-engine based feed.
(I.e., what some mistakenly call "the algorithm" or an "algorithmic feed".)
“I know the comparison here is 450 followers to 4,500, but follower number isn't indicative of the full picture. Think about TikTok, and how you can have 50 followers but have posts that reach millions of views.”

Hello. Hope you're doing well. I'm far from being an expert on Mastodon. Just wanted to say that upfront. And apologies if I'm about to steer you wrong. I joined just a few months ago and have been picking it up through trial & error and the help of brilliant people with far greater wisdom and understanding than I.
I think I've done the same thing. I think you went to their profile page on their server. If you aren't registered with an account on that server, you aren't logged in. You might have seen links on the page something like "Create Account" & "Sign In" or something like that.
You have an account on mastodon.social server but I have an account on a different server, so if I viewed your account when I'm logged in on my own server, I could like your posts, but if I viewed your account on your own server, since I don't have an account, I would only be able to see the posts.
Every server/instance is a separate entity, managed independently of each other, but because of how the "fediverse" works, we can all connect with each other.
Probably as clear as mud. Sorry. And I might of course be completely wrong. Try the links below. Lots of useful tips.
