Requesting advice/thoughts on #javascript workarounds on #facebook
I'm trying to find a way to use the good parts of facebook, AKA pages for local community groups. what I would like is a feed that just shows a curated selection of my groups. This doesn't seem possible with facebook settings, and I know just enough javascript to have devised a workaround.
It's a loop that checks the innerText of each child of the feed div, and if the title of the group isn't on the curated list, it deletes the element.
my code won't win any beauty awards, but it seems robust enough to withstand future changes to the source code. I suppose I would like to know if anyone has already made something like this, so I can use that. Or, if this idea doesn't exist, I'd appreciated any experienced person looking over it and suggesting improvements.
