If you’re having trouble with the latest Facebook update, here’s a quick workaround that’s been helping me:
Do a double tap and hold, then slide your finger to the right. Make sure your focus is on the text of the post or the person’s profile picture at the top before doing the gesture.
It’s been working pretty consistently on my end. Feel free to share this anywhere it might help others.

Det er noe litt deprimerende over å kjøre betalte annonser på Facebook (ikke døm for hardt her, det er ikke så lett å skaffe publikum..), la algoritmen velge målgruppe og sjekke tallene etterpå.
I følge Facebooks mektige algoritmer er det helt klart nesten bare "kvinner 65+" som er interessert i kultur-arrangementer. Ca 70% av annonsevisningene ble målretta mot kvinner over 55, 49% av dem mot 65+.
Usikker på om jeg skal være mest irritert på algoritmen eller mannfolka..

Mark Zuckerberg, obermotz der asozjalen, kriminellen und vom BGH verurteilten¹ spämmklitsche fratzenbuch, hat für seine tollen „metaverse“-visjonen 77 gigadollar verbrannt. Nicht einfach nur megadollar. Gigadollar. Milljarden. 🔥️
Tja, ist schon scheiße, wenn ein geschäftsmodell einfach nicht läuft. Trotz der bestupsung von fratzenbuch-nutzerys. Trotz der tollen PResseerklärungen, die zu reklametexten im redakzjonellen teil der contentindustriellen jornallje wurden, als ob es nachrichten seien und nicht reklame.
Und wartet erstmal ab, wie viel geld verbrannt sein wird, wenn die KI-blase endlich platzt, weil die KI-klitschen einfach kein geschäftsmodell finden, das auch nur die betriebskosten wieder einspielt — vom reichlich verbrannten risikokapital will ich da gar nicht erst anfangen, das trifft eh nur leute, die gewusst haben müssen, wie risikant so eine investizjon ist. Dagegen werden 77 gigadollar richtig niedlich aussehen.

Either a fork its born or some educated people at #guix will create their own desktop environment far away from the #IBM corporate leeches. BTW, the #ageverification issue its being backed up from #facebook/#meta with a fake front assotiation.

#facebook sucks in so many ways, but it's also a place where people go to do people things. I just scrolled for 15 minutes through a thread where people posted their "coolest, weirdest, or nerdiest tattoo." It was an absolute delight. I love seeing people's tattoos, and if they choose to tell me about them, the stories are almost always cool.
