Part of me is a little nervous that I just initiated account deletion for Facebook, but I think most of me is relieved. On the other hand, it's pretty fucked that they require a 30-day waiting period before your account is gone. And the way they word it throughout the whole process as everything becoming "inaccessible" is so telling that they actually keep everything but just don't allow YOU to get to it any more.

For some reason I get a lot of #christian ads on #facebook. Not sure why. I'm #pagan. Maybe that's why. But I guarantee if you drop "The sweet treat of Jesus" in some poor kid's bag...someone will egg your house and pull up the begonias you take to church luncheons.
