Washington State will begin taxing advertising services on Oct 1, 2025.
Creative design, campaign planning, SEM, and media placement fees will all be subject to retail sales tax for the first time. Even ad buys on platforms like Google & Facebook will be taxed if billed to WA clients.

Has anyone else received an email notice like the one pictured. I filed my #PrivacyClaim against #Facebook in 2023. Today I received this email.
To be honest, I had forgotten about it, and I certainly don't expect to become wealthy. My guess is claimants will receive $10 or less.
