I am unique. I was there 100% with the introduction of intranet then internet the web. Email started back in intranet not suddenly when the internet occurred. I’ve been on a computer every day of my career life as it was my life. I am 56 with a BSc in IT/CS.
That isn’t why I’m unique. What makes me unique is I don’t do any social media except this one. No #Facebook, no #WhatsApp, no #Instagram. My messages are minimal. I like #tiktok for humour. I’m a school mum, think about it.

WhatsApp will face stricter rules under the European Union’s content moderation rulebook.
The European Commission, plans to designate WhatsApp’s open channels as a “Very Large Online Platform” under the Digital Services Act, meaning it must meet high standards for content moderation and transparency.

As an example, my city has communal elections next year. And I plan to propose to amend my party's election campaign program that our city's official social media team should cater to Fediverse-based systems as well - right now, they are only using #Facebook and #Instagram.

Oui, j'autorise Migros Mobile à transmettre mes données (notamment mon adresse e-mail et mon numéro de mobile) de manière chiffrée à des plateformes publicitaires telles que Instagram/Facebook (Meta) ou Google, et de cette manière, je vois des offres de Migros plus pertinentes lorsque j'utilise leurs sites web ou leurs applications.
Bah oui, pourquoi pas tiens…
Allez décocher ça tout de suite, vous ne voulez pas autoriser Migros à filer vos données à qui que ce soit pour faire de la pub, vous ne voulez pas de pub, et vous détestez le capitalisme !
