The problem with both META and Twitter (I refuse to call it X, that's still a dumb name) is they make money with people being angry.
You're far more likely to remain online and remain talkative and engage with the site / service, when you're frustrated or upset about someone else's nonsense.
The more actively, the more ads they can sell and the more money they make.
This is why META (Facebook) and Twitter turned a blind eye for years.

It has been amusing watching everyone freak out to learn that many of those so-called MAGA supporters on Twitter are not actually American.
I have known this for years -- Facebook has had the exact same problem.

Meta is profiting from online scams on its platforms (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, etc.) and because it's profiting from those Scams it not only doesn't do anything to stop them, it actively encourages them. Scam ads account for more than 10% of Meta's overall Revenue.

Ciao Ihr Lieben, ich hatte nur vor kurzem bei Facebook einen Account, um meinen Verwandten dort zu schreiben, daß meine Mutter leider verstorben ist.. keine Reaktionen ihrerseits.. auch nicht von meiner Halbschwester.. ich hatte ihr daraufhin meine Kontaktdaten hinterlassen und meinen Account bei Facebook wieder gelöscht.. ich bin jetzt nur noch hier alleine.. naja.. soviel zu Verwandte..😞
