Idk. I go from work where everything is generally ok to my home area where most have #facebook on their phone, and offer to me to show me how to post to their community page. Half of them look at me funny when I say "internet". They can't imagine why I can't friend them. I give them my phone for help, and they say it must be broken. (I uninstalled FB, but they can't sort that out.) They do use a browser for some things, but they can't distinguish it from any other app. We are truly hosed! #USA

Facebook上の個人情報で有権者の心理を操作できたというのが、SF映画の中の話でも、SNSの陰謀論でも、ドハデなYouTuberの大げさでもないというところがこの事件は強烈でした。
もちろん日本でも政治家はSNSでの「戦略」を駆使しているし、政党公認のクラブがネット世論を扇動しようとするとかはもう行われています。
だから、まずはそういうことが現実にあるのだと知っておくことが大事だと思うのね。知らないことには手も足も出ないから

Facebookの個人情報流出事件は世でほとんど知られていないけど、これはメディアが報じなかったということではないです。国内でも良質な新聞記事などはありました。
ただそういう報道はIT業界にある程度詳しい人を想定読者にした系統だったので、一般には広まらなかった感がある。事件の内容的にはドハデなYouTuberが食いついておかしくないんだけど、そういうこともなかった。
だから私はもっとわかりやすい一般向けな解説を書いて橋渡しをしよう！と思ったのね
