I'm rage-reading "Careless People" by the ex-Facebook exec, and boy is it ugly. The peons are in hustle culture thrall to the ultra-entitled leaders, and there isn't an ounce of moral integrity in the entire org.
Perhaps worse though, the author is playing the "I'm just a country gal, I didn't understand what I was seeing" card and claiming she just wanted to connect people, yet participates in this ultra-capitalist spying machine because "I loved my job". Awful.
