Tempo fa decisi di tornare su #facebook per poter seguire quattro cose fondamentali, e decisi di farlo con nome, cognome e indirizzo mail veri MA con immagini tipo quella che ho qui (stile Minecraft) e con le impostazioni della privacy molto severe.
Un'oretta dopo ricevo la mail che il mio account è stato bloccato perché sospetto di essere fasullo (cosa non vera ovviamente).

#facebook is complete garbage. I've had an account for less than a week, and the ONLY reason was to sell items on their marketplace. And then I get this notice today. I have one marketplace ad which is selling kitchen cabinets and I've posted twice to a local private community group, which I had to be approved to join. I should have trusted my original instincts and just never bothered. I won't be bothering investigating or appealing. Not worth my time.

Gli auguri sono rivolti a tutti i candidati di Portici, il sostegno a uno e uno solo: il figlio. Sarebbe stata una notizia il contrario. Fa il pieno di like il post di Facebook col quale il sindaco uscente Vincenzo Cuomo, già senatore Pd, ora assessore regionale al Governo del territorio nella giunta Fico, annuncia l’appoggio al candidato sindaco Claudio Teodonno e il voto al candidato nella lista dem al consiglio comunale Pietro Cuomo. “Lo faccio per due motivi, il primo: è del tutto naturale che un padre sostenga il figlio, il secondo: ritengo necessario dare continuità al lavoro fatto in questi anni ritenendo che continuare non significare fermarsi, anzi vuol dire proseguire in un percorso innovandolo con idee, progetti e programmi per includere ed integrare persone e territorio”.
Il post è un mix di sentimenti frutto della doppia veste di politico e di genitore: “Non nascondo una certa emozione per la candidatura di Pietro al Consiglio Comunale, è la prima volta anche per me come padre vivere la candidatura di un figlio e solo adesso posso capire l‘ansia dei miei genitori per le mie candidature. Pietro ha competenze e capacità per dare un contributo di qualità e concretezza alla crescita della città e sono certo che riuscirà ad interpretare al meglio la sua passione civile ed il suo amore per Portici”.
La sua pagina ospita una bolla molto favorevole, tra i commenti solo complimenti e auguri. “Buon sangue non mente”, “Pietro una gran bella persona”, “In bocca al lupo”. Le polemiche, caso mai, ci sono state prima e altrove. Nei mesi scorsi, sulla stampa locale, quando si sparse la voce che si sarebbe candidata anche la sorella di Pietro (così non è stato) e i due rampolli avrebbero potuto sfruttare in pieno la norma sulla doppia preferenza di genere. Attingendo al vasto serbatoio elettorale del padre, che per il suo quarto e ultimo mandato fu eletto nel 2022 con quasi l’82% al primo turno. Portici torna al voto a maggio perché Cuomo si è dimesso in anticipo per andare a ricoprire l’incarico di assessore regionale. Ma non ha voluto lasciare sguarnito il Comune.

In recent months, in the local press, when it was rumored that Pietro’s sister (this didn’t happen) and the two offspring could fully exploit the rule on double gender preference. Drawing on the vast electoral reservoir of the father, who was elected in 2022 with almost 82% in the first round for his fourth and final term. Portici is going back to the polls in May because Cuomo resigned early to take on the role of regional assessor. But he didn’t want to leave the City bare.
