Drupal dnes slaví 25 let. Původně ho vytvořil belgický student Dries Buytaert jako jednoduchý blogovací projekt. Za čtvrt století z něj vyrostl robustní ekosystém, který dnes pohání klasické i headless weby po celém světě.
Moje TOP10 Drupal milníky:
· 2001 – vzniká Drupal
· 2005 – objevuju Drupal a stavím svůj první blog
· 2008 – píšu svou první knihu o Drupalu (následovalo dalších pět 📚)
· 2009 – startuju několik let jako lektor Drupalu v GOPASu
· 2011 – vychází Drupal 7 – nejúspěšnější a dlouho velmi oblíbená verze
· 2013 – první ocenění za web v soutěži
· 2015 – Drupal 8: konec „old school“ PHP, přichází Symfony, Twig a moderní stack
· 2018 – první WebTop100 s Lesensky.cz a Drupalem
· 2019 – beru 3. místo v Drupal CS Awards
· 2025 – po letech odkladů definitivní konec podpory Drupalu 7. Vydržel 14 let. Klobouk dolů.
Drupal pro mě není jen technologie, ale kus profesního života. Díky všem, kdo na tomhle projektu kdy pracovali.

I worked with #Drupal a lot in my earlier career. They were formative years and I would not be who I am today if not for the supportive, kind and encouraging community I found there. Some great lessons here in Dries' post. Inspirational stuff! Congrats on 25 years.

Congrats @dries and the #Drupal community for 25 years on the open web! Love this lesson from Dries' blog post: "You cannot force a community to exist, but you can create the conditions for one to grow." (the opposite is also true: if the conditions suck, people will leave — X, Threads, etc.)
