Dear #drupal friends, PHP needs your help, and it only takes a few seconds of your time. There is an @itworldcup going on and PHP is in the round of 16 against Delphi. Please vote for PHP so that we can demonstrate that PHP is still dying ๐Ÿ˜‚

@penyaskito hey thanks for the help.

OK, so I did indeed discover what you told me about Canvas allowing me to modify my Display Modes for different content types.

Am I correct in believing that I can't use Layout Builder and Canvas together on the same content type and display mode?

My ideal use case would be to use Canvas to help me manage a global template for the site or content type, but continue to rely on Layout Builder to allow users to make overrides to content defaults on a node by node basis.

I know it's early and we can't expect everything, but I was hoping it would be like a better Layout Builder with similar node by node flexibility. It seems to me that it's more like a better Gutenberg. That would still be great as I find Gutenberg difficult to extend and customize.

I'm trying to decide if I need to make a development decision to cease reliance on Layout Builder and begin a transition to Canvas, but they seem to have very significant areas that don't overlap.

Making the case for #Drupal Commerce over enterprise commerce platforms: ๐Ÿ’ฐ๐Ÿ›’

centarro.io/blog/hidden-costs-

@ryanszrama does a great job explaining why services like Shopify are likely to cost more in the long run.

I don't build very many commerce sites, but I learned a lot in this blog post. I would imagine this would be *very* useful for agencies as a sales tool! ๐ŸŽฏ๐Ÿ“Š
