can anyone recommend a self host able (on nixos or docker) spreadsheet software with a clean (google sheets/pre-ribbon ms office style) UI that works on mobile (ios safari)?
either that or a desktop office suite that runs fast on windows (libreoffice sucks tbh, accidentally installed windows over our linux install), wouldn't mind paying as long as its not a subscription
features that would very much prefer:
- ability to change spreadsheet styles globally (so ocd doesn't make us spend ages reformatting it)
- some sort of scripting language
- preferably openbanking api support or ability to import from google sheets automatically
- multiple tables on same sheet (like ios numbers) or ability to embed a sheet into another sheet to make a overview
- currency conversion (preferably auto updating)
not really interested in other budgeting applications but still taking recommendations for them, will be doing our own budgeting solution with spreadsheets
really urgently need to rework our finances spreadsheet so we don't fuck things up again

Hace tiempo cree una instancia de #Navidrome en mi servidor de #Docker, mismo que funciona bastante bien, y terminé encontrando una aplicación para #Android llamada #Symphonium, que ofrece sincronizarse con el servidor de #Navidrome. Después de varias pruebas (el problema es que #Symphonium no veía la tarjeta micro SD en mi tableta, lo cual solucioné formateándola un par de veces en la tableta), pude configurar el almacenamiento externo y pude empezar a descargar la música.

Shortcut v25.10 BETA was released a few days ago. This popular video editor added Text to Speech (TTS) to Notes and Subtitles. It uses Docker as a plugin framework. The engine for this is Kokorodoki, and the model is Kokoro - both of which are not maintained by the Shortcut developers. The Shortcut developers do NOT want users asking for more languages or voices.

Translated the official docker-compose file into multiple quadlet definitions for:
- immich-server (App-Container)
- immich-db (postgresql db)
- immich-redis (valkey db)
- immich-ml (ML stuff)
Created an env-file to pull the settings from (as in the docker-compose .env one).
Important: I had to specify additional environment vars for DB_HOSTNAME and REDIS_HOSTNAME because my containers weren't called "redis" and "database".
My server runs CentOS Stream 9 and I've added the :Z option to the volumes and hostpaths to autolabel directories as containerfile_t so SELinux is happy.

Immich (selfhosted alternative to Google Photos) released stable version 2.0.0
The disclaimer from the immich website is gone:
"Warning: Immich is under heavy development and features might break between versions anytime"
...or something like this.
From now on they'll use semantic versioning (potential breaking changes only with major versions).
That warning held me off from trying it out when I saw it years ago.
Time to evaluate it again I guess 😊
I'll write a podman quadlet for my homelab server.
