I have a 2018 i5 #macmini with 32gb of ram. It’s running MacOS but serving #Jellyfin and some other #homelab stuff via #docker. I love it for this use, but it’s overpowered and has Thunderbolt 3.
I’m thinking over getting an #eGPU enclosure, plopping in a #AMD card, and installing #Bazzite. I’d still run a #server setup in the BG but replace my docked steamdeck setup with this much more powerful system.
Anyone have experience doing similar—in any sense: egpu mini, Bazzite server etc?

Just got #PHP code that was last modified over 16 years ago (May 17th 2009) to run again using PHP 5.6 in #Docker.
Might start bumping software versions gradually over time to see how far I can take it.
Yes, I’m aware that PHP 5.6 is EoL.

Just finished upgrading coz.jp with a new high-performance architecture: #Laravel Octane powered by #FrankenPHP, running behind #Traefik in #Docker.
Had to troubleshoot a few live-site issues — including a missing assets compilation step in the Dockerfile — but everything’s now smoother than ever.
Next up: writing a deep-dive article on the build process and lessons learned.
