Did you know you can easily host your own #invidious instance with #docker?*
I didn't but I'll have that as a backup for the times when #Freetube isn't working thanks to #Youtube mucking about on their end again.
(It also works reasonable well to just open videos from Freetube in an external player (or just yt-dlp stuff) but Invidious feels smoother.)

So, after one of my servers had a brainfart and deleted one of my sites instead of updating ut to the latest version, do i stick with #Ghost, which i really like but is missing a tonne of functionality i want (photo management is a big one, as is "Newsletters" by email [damn, i hate that phrase, sounds really up its own arse]), or do i switch to something that does pretty much everything i want, but i dont neccesarily like.
And, as an added wrinkle, my server runs on #YuNoHost, which apparently is dropping support for Ghost, whose favoured management system is #Docker.
And I'm not exactly a #Linux guru - I can do stuff through a CLI, but it generally involves searching for a relevant command, the copy-pasting it into place, and is really slow, so I'm wondering if there is some form of #GUI for Docker.
If i go back to #WordPress, which has almost all of the features i want, and i know pretty well, i can switch this site and my other main site, which are the only things running on that server, back to the commodity server I've had for a decade now, which runs my wife's site, which would save me some money, especially the international transfer fees, with it being hosted in the EU.
So, 2 options - restart MancAvGeek on WordPress, then move that and madCam to my other hosting package and nuke this server, or move madCam to the other host, then nuke and restart this server to host MancAvGeek via Docker?
Any thoughts?
