Hmmmm... Don't think you can actually 'guarantee' that because you don't know what the algorithm actually is. For instance, heard complaints that No Kings stuff, while very prevalent on Saturday quickly pretty much disappeared. Is this deliberate, or even true, who knows. The point is that it could be true, and no one would know for sure.
Plus, as you say, whatever is the case today, may not be true tomorrow.

@mastodonmigration I sincerely believe #GenZ, #Millenials, #GenX like myself and #Boomers will not be coming to the #Fediverse in droves abandoning #Bluesky, #TikTok, #Instagram for #Pixelfed and the like.
My experience in computing for 42+ years tells me otherwise.
Some will discover the alternatives but we will always be in the minority. Current FediDB stats show just that.
People came from #Twitter and then left for Bluesky w/ #algorithms.

Bluesky - A Wolf In Sheep's Clothing
Learned today around May/June 2024, #Bluesky quietly switched the default to their algorithmic 'Discover' feed. Now new users are fed posts determined by the owners, just like Instagram, TicTok and X. Why this matters is the vast majority never change defaults.
Think of these platforms as tools for information warfare, and the ability to amplify and mute is how they shape influence.
Lefties congrugating on Bluesky are walking right into the trap.

You think #GenZ wants to see our content from Millenials, GenX and Boomers?
That's not a selling point, it makes it pretty cringe to them.
They also don't care what underlying tech it uses, just like all those who left for #Bluesky don't care about #decentralization.
No #Algorithm in loops & no advertising money = Something cool here, but little meaning elsewhere to most folks using social platforms.

11.8 Million Accounts, 949.9K active accounts - Down 3.1% from last month.
So no plans on advertising outside of the #Fediverse, #Bluesky keeps growing and #Loops is going to overtake or even compete in any way with #TikTok with #GenZ's help from a ton of content provided by #Millenials, #GenX and #Boomers.
Does this actually seem realistic to anyone here?
