So, i'm gonna' keep on posting tunes as i enjoy over time. If the remaining folks on the #Fediverse who haven't bailed for #Bluesky aren't interested that's just symbolic of who is still here I suppose.
It is great to be off Bluesky and back on #Mastodon now only aside from this. This music discovery project was something i moved here but i mostly wanted a profile here to get news, tech content, infosec related content and fun things. Mastodon is still great for that. :)

One benefit of #Mastodon over #Bluesky aside from the lacking #music sharing community here is the fact that my linktree works without a Mastodon account, don't need to be logged in to use it.
That sucked about Bluesky but it worked fine for both my partner and I because we were both there at the time.
Users who liked electronic music and all the other stuff i've shared could also use it when logged in. Not sure it ever was found through any web searches but it was far less easy to use.

#Mastodon for #Music discovery is kinda' lacking ngl.
I get that it's mostly indie artists #promoting their own stuff, that's always been the case largely. But aside from that, in terms of people sharing music, it's mostly people posting album covers or links to #Spotify, #LastFM or some other place you can't listen to music.
#Bluesky was absolutely better as a #community who enjoyed hearing / discovering things new and old.
It's like people are afraid of anything that isn't new & indie.

I deleted my Bluesky account.
That place had become a festering pool of bots and paid operatives and just an awful place to be. It stressed me out.
After a particularly stressful series of interactions on there yesterday, today I opened it and went to my profile, and to settings. There it was in red, "Deactivate my account".
Deleting my Twitter made me sad because of the larger events that led to it. But Bluesky? I'm happy it's gone. It never was what they said it was.

jo, man kan argumentere for at det ikke er realistisk med politisk forandring *uden* #facebook, men når #israel har sådan grad af kontrol over #facebook / #instagram / #messenger, så hører jeg til blandt dem, der tvivler på om forandring er muligt *med* #facebook.
