Ara mateix, totes les aplicacions client tant per a iOS com per Android funcionen bé amb els servidors #appy. Al inici del seu desenvolupament, només emprava l'aplicació client Ivory, que m'ha ajudat a arribar fins aquí.
En el camí he après moltíssim, el projecte era tot un repte: programar un servidor #ActivityPub des de zero amb #Python i #fastAPI amb el mateix comportament que l'API de Mastodon per a poder aprofitar totes les seves apps client.
Estic molt a prop del final 💪🏼

What’s up with delivery addressing being in both #activitypub activities and objects? If my app publishes a nonpublic Create with different direct delivery targets than the created Object, what happens? What is supposed to happen? I know the spec recommends against it (suggests duplicating the addresses in both), but why was this considered a feature to allow? I think there should have been a non-AS2 envelope for addressing rather than embedding it (twice) into the content. You know, like email.

two weeks of running #snac2
number of files generated by snac is huge, but i don't care that much anymore.
$ du -hd0 /var/snaci like snac a lot: i run my own server and client, i can modify css (and i do tweak it often, i can modify the source code---didn't get to that yet ;)
133M /var/snac
$ find /var/snac | wc -l
35603
sometimes i use snac command line, but mostly snac web ui and nothing else.
someday maybe i'll try to build some minimalist #activitypub server, but looks like a lot of work :)

Was there anything done to bring #activitypub protocol and #fediverse to other websites with rich and valuable content?
Automatic reposting to mastodon could be a benefit there.
While I am unsure about culture fit, I have strong feeling that both cultures could learn something from each other.
Building it from scratch seems to be extremely slow and leaves out valuable knowledge.
High purity approach makes it so most people are not even aware of it.

it means real progress: comment controls, unified messenger, ephemeral stories.
it also helps legitimize smaller projects doing incredible work — emissary, gotosocial and beyond.

it is not lost on me that the VC-backed #Drupal leadership jumped on the #AI bandwagon with this REDUNDANT DrupalCMS conceit; but nary a peep about what would make sense for the project: turn Drupal into an #ActivityPub framework for building different #fediverse webapps.
Drupal isn't the open-source mess Wordpress became; but it’s been a thing to watch how the capitalists set the priorities.
#BackdropCMS should do what Drupal won't: become a framework for AP webapps.
