For my #python folks, this is the best explanation I've seen of `__name__==__main__`

Python Tip #5 (of 365):

Use sensible chained comparisons in Python, like a < b < c

Unlike many programming languages, you can chain comparison operators in Python.

Meaning this:

if 0 < x and x < 10:
...

Can be rewritten as this:

if 0 < x < 10:
...

I recommend embracing this feature.

@hynek Very nice! Be careful not to do {39-314}:

> Be conscious of the number of significant digits in your range endpoints. A range like py{39-314} will not do what you may expect. (It expands to 275 environment names, py39, py40, py41 … py314.) Instead, use py3{9-14}.

(Or just drop 3.9)

Getting Started with Marimo Notebook

I don’t like Notebooks« addressiert hatte. kantel.github.io/posts/2026010
