It’s interesting—I primarily use the #Fediverse for blogging, not microblogging.
People used to complain about that. But after two years, I haven’t received a single complaint. Which means people have got used to the notion that #ActivityPub does not need to be Twitter-like.

Okay, really interesting that rich text and out-of-band hashtags are supported in #ATProtocol but not the #Bluesky client.

I recently learned about #IPDB; a distributed database used by #ATProto. I wonder if you could build an #ActivityPub implementation that uses #IPFS for content distribution, and IPDB for distributing the activity data.

Yes, I think an interesting follow-up #poll might be to ask people's expectation on whether they think a fediverse that reaches billions is capable of holding corporate capture and #BigTech at bay, and not become just a better instrument than existed before to the further spread and enforcement of #technofeudalism ideology.
And I then usually follow to be that one annoying guy that taps the sign and dims the giddy atmosphere .. 😅

One of the downsides of text-only communication is that if you listen more than you talk, it's easy to forget you're still in the room. So it's really encouraging to hear from people who get value from SocialHub without necessarily posting a lot.
You mentioned a hobby AP implementation you're working on. Anything you're willing to share with the group? : )
