Bromas a parte, #yunohost es un sistema operativo* que hace fácil montar tu propio servidor. Funciona bien con rpi 3, te dan un subdominio (si no traes el tuyo) y te resuelve problemas de DNS dinámico para ese subdominio. Instalar servicios es tan fácil (muchas veces) como instalar una aplicación en el teléfono cuando la tienen en su repositorio y listmonk está!
Yo hace 6 años (joder como pasa el tiempo) que tengo mi servidor así y no puedo dejar de recomendarlo.
*más que un sistema son unas cuantas herramientas por encima de debian

ha je lis que tu es assez remonté contre l'auto-hébergement de son serveur de mail.
Perso je le fais depuis 98 et pour des asso, une 50aine de boites.
ça marche pas mal, bien sur il faut faire le suivi des uti mais rien de méchant
cela impose juste de passer par un FAI ouvert , ovh, #FDN ou pro
et je trouve que #Yunohost fait bien le taf
j'ai utilisé SME et Nethserver jusqu'en 2018...
Ce qui me fait dire que l'autonomie demande aussi qu'on s'occupe du FAI

Qualche livelloide ha un #HomeServer con #CasaOS ? Da oggi aprendo l'interfaccia non si vedono più le applicazioni, però stanno tutte girando e funzionando tranquillamente.
Sempre più tentato a passare a #YunoHost...

oui deja dès le début ici 2 asso l'avaient adopté plutôt que Nextcloud bien plus gourmand.
le coté tout en un pas complexe un était cool.
C'est vraiment l'alternative pratique que je propose aujourd'hui sur RSP avec un Yunohost pour les petites structures autonomes.

Ich hab #YunoHost auf nem Server bei #NetCup laufen.
Jetzt wollte ich mich nochmal per ssh einloggen und bekam "Connection refused". Den ssh-Befehl hatte ich aus der History, deswegen müsste der Port auch stimmen. Wenn ich mich über das Webportal in die Konsole einlogge wird mir n anderer ED25519 fingerprint angezeigt als in meinem Terminal beim gescheiterten Login.
Was passiert da?

I'm currently planning my written tutorial for #YunoHost - from the POV of a newbie.
The guide will have a simple but ambitious goal: to encourage non-technical people to try self-host their own #NextCloud instance... and show them that it's something accessible to all, thanks to the wonderful https://YunoHost.org
I have tried other similar tools and YunoHost IMHO is simply the best and most secure solution. I've been using it for 11 months now and I have ZERO complaints. It just works... and it's effortless.
I'm thinking of splitting my written tutorial in a 3-part series... because doing everything in one go for a non-technical person could be overwhelming.
Part 1: registering a domain name and signing up for a VPS*
* yes I know technically you could forgo a domain name but I think having one is more empowering long term... and I'd go the VPS route because it's the most headache-free for a newbie. I can do the whole thing in 12 minutes with a VPS... and experienced headaches with a Raspi. I think for a total newbie the VPS is the way to go... especially if we factor in security issues. The stakes are lower
Part 2: installing YunoHost and tweaking DNS settings (assigning domain for NextCloud and creating a subdomain for YunoHost admin stuff, etc.)
Part 3: installing NextCloud (which people voted for when I asked which app I should install in my tutorial) and seeing what it can do.
Thoughts?
Is a 3-part series overkill or ok? I'd like to encourage people to set aside 30 minutes a day for this, so that the whole thing is not too overwhelming.
