J'ai installé Yunohost sur un Raspberry Pi, il semble devoir absolument être relié au modem par un câble Éthernet.
Est-ce que c'est possible de le faire marcher par wifi? Je veux simplement savoir si c'est possible pour ne pas faire inutilement de longues recherches pour savoir comment faire.

Wow, impressed with Yunohost!
I nearly gave up trying to install Home Assistant on my fedora server, struggling to understand docker containers, images, compose.yaml yadayadayada.
With Yunohost I had it up and running in a few clicks. Love it!

J'ai déployé un serveur Pleroma (je l'ai fait avec Yunohost parce que je suis faignant).
Je voulais que les média distants soient mis en cache et servis par le serveur : Fait.
Puis, je me suis dis que le dossier des média distants aurait bien plus sa place en RAM, disons 2Go : Fait.
L'affichage des pages est devenu encore plus rapide!
Je ne sais pas trop ce que je vais faire de cette instance, d'autant plus que je ne prévoie pas qu'il y ait grand monde dessus

De mon coté, l'installation ne fonctionne pas et les accès aux URL bloquent l'accès à l'interface publique, même avec le niveau standard de confidentialité de Firefox.
A contrario, pas de souci d'accès à mov.im...

Heute mal mit runtipi experimentiert. Ein beeindruckendes System und die One-Click Installation von Apps funktioniert in der Regel auf Anhieb. Über einen geeigneten Tunnel ist die Anbindung der Apps an das Internet mit SSL Verschlüsselung schnell erledigt.
Der erste Eindruck ist positiver als bei YunoHost.

I have the money and will to set up a #selfhost a server (like #Ente or #Immich or #Yunohost ) but I lack the time to research and do it. Or rather, I am paralyzed by the sheer number of choices to select a server, storage and even domain name registrar.
Earlier I would have simply looked at the cost and made a decision. Now I have other factors to think like how sovereign, secure and reliable these are in the long term. Thank you 2020s geopolitics for this added anxiety

I have something to add, together with my #SelfHosting shared experience.
I use YunoHost as a domain/applications manager, and this doesn't make a system administrator (or a VPS manager) of me.
I want to be precise on this, after @scripting shared this reflection: "Trump is a president like a vibe-coder is a developer".
Meaning: "the fact you have easy access to this role, doesn't mean you have the abilities to deserve it".
Dave Winer's reflection hit me, but in the good way - if money and tech empower you more than your real competences, if you don't constantly keep your limits in mind, you'll become a disaster. Keeping the topic on vibe coding, I know at least 2 or 3 blind folks who are never been programmers but they build a couple softwares covering their own needs, through vibe coding. They share them to other blind folks as well.
Programs which interact with the Internet too.
I have very basic skills, not much in developing but in computer science. If you talk to me of arrays, constants, variables, integers and strings to make an example, I know what you're talking about. Same for "apt install", mount -umount, root, super-user, daemons and config files. Not that I know to read any single line of a .conf file but if a llm or even a document gives me an instruction, I know what it basically does.
And on this, I must be a contraddiction to @elena when she says YunoHost empowers anyone to use a self-host platform.
For basic needs it could be sufficient. But, saying that terminal is rarely needed, it's quite an illusion. I've even had to struggle with Lemmy federation, and in the end it was just the wrong date on the server, it was an hour earlier!

I've been doing a lot more with my #Homelab lately.
Most recently I copied my late dad's extensive music library over to the RAID and set up #Ampache on #YunoHost to stream it wherever I am. I'm also adding music I've bought myself since starting to wean off of purely subscrition-based access to music.
Right now I'm scanning everything to add replaygain metadata for comfortable listening.
Maybe I'll even add what I'm currently listening to to my #website 🤔
