Ho usato la bellissima guida di @elena e ho installato #yunohost.

my personal #Glitchsoc is stil down. This is just a follow up post to let you all know what's going on. Iv'e bumped the post I have on the #Yunohost forums. it contains logs and entries about afailed ruby something which broke badly. According to the logs there was aset of permission issues and some rough edges then it all came crashing down 2 weeks ago after a successful update, all services failing to start and a reboot of the server.

In the last months, I've been using #yunohost to self-host a lot of my web apps.
It's been great learning about #selfhosting and I think YunoHost is perfect for personal use and hobbyists.
But I don't think I would trust it for more serious projects.
In that case, learning #docker is probably the way to go.
That's where I'm currently at. I'm not used to Docker yet, but I'll learn it.
I just removed Yunohost, reset my VPS and installed #coolify
We'll see how that goes.

Ce sera Nextcloud qui gérera mon nuage, mon agenda personnel, mes notes et mon carnet d'adresses.
Ça fait 6 ans que j'auto-héberge un serveur sous #Yunohost. J'ai plusieurs applis, dont l'instance Pleroma de laquelle j'écris. Mais si je ne devait en garder qu'une, ce serait #Nextcloud. La richesse du magasin d'applications est incroyable. Je découvre encore de belles pépites. Je viens d'installer Deck, pour garder le fil de mes projets perso.

Da har jeg flyttet alle #Yunohost tjenestene mine over på nytt domene hos EuroDNS, har ryddet litt hos #Domeneshop og sagt opp et par domener der.
Kommer til å flytte noen domener til EuroDNS iløpet av året hvis de fortsetter å være så bra som de ser ut til hittil slik at jeg kun sitter igjen med et par domener jeg bruker til epost hos Domeneshop (fordi jeg liker å ha eposten min lagret på servere her i Norge, og ikke har lyst til å ha epost på den lille hobby-serveren hjemme).

Siempre he deseado aprender más de lo que mi capacidad me ha permitido. Desde que descubrí que existen sistemas más allá de "ventanas" y "manzanas" y además libres de seguimiento y telemetría, ha sido un no parar. Quiero agradecer a cuentas como: @sl1200, @caleb, @Sr_Polilla, @__End3r__ y muchos más que con sus tutoriales, mensajes y aportes a la comunidad permiten que gente como yo pueda aprendar cada día un poco más de estos temas.

Today, I fucked my #peertube instance after an upgrade
It seems like #yunohost reset my production.yaml config file
You're not supposed to edit it manually.
So I lost the connection to my #s3 storage and other important configs
I wanted to restore a backup, but it would not restore
I had to do computer acrobatics to make it go back up
My videos were safe in the S3, but yunohost doesn't backup thumbnails
Today was a bad day, but I learned a few things.
And I'm done with yunohost lol
